YOUR ROLE
- Support sustainability assessment of Henkel’s Consumer Brands packaging incl. recyclability, recycled content, and Life Cycle Assessment
- Support implementation of digital solutions to assess, report and track sustainability of packaging
- Collaborate effectively with internal & external stakeholders, suppliers, recycling partners and associations
- Consult global teams regarding sustainability improvements of packaging
- Support training and upskilling initiatives on packaging sustainability within the Henkel organization
- Be responsible for research projects to further advance recyclability and usage of recycled materials in packaging
- Contribute to the internal and external packaging sustainability reporting
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Packaging, Chemical Engineering, Plastics, Paper Technology or similar
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in the field of packaging, waste management or circular economy
- Knowledge and experience of the main packaging technologies including recycling technologies and life cycle assessment of packaging materials
- Successful completion of first projects on packaging circularity
- Experience in collaboration with stakeholders along the packaging value chain
- Analytical, result-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset (operational and business-oriented)
- Strong networking and intercultural skills, willingness to perform within an international organization
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluent English language skills, German is a plus
