About this position
What you´ll do
- Supports the preparation of mid- and long-term Material Requirements Plans based on production needs and forecasts.
- Works closely with the Operational Planning team to help ensure materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity.
- Supports the maintenance of MRP parameters and follows up on material planning exceptions.
- Assists with inventory analysis, including monitoring stock levels, slow-moving materials and obsolete inventory.
- Supports the maintenance of relevant material and manufacturing planning data.
- Collaborates with Purchasing and suppliers to identify potential supply risks and support material availability.
- Helps monitor supplier capacity and future material requirements to support production plans.
- Identifies and communicates potential material supply risks or opportunities to the relevant teams.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives to make material planning processes more efficient.
- Helps optimize material orders while balancing availability, inventory levels and potential obsolescence
What makes you a good fit
- Ability to do a 12 month internship (6-8h/day) via internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas)
- Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain student or related
- Fluent level of English
- Analytical mindset
- Proactive, Well organized
- Excel (pivot tables)/PowerBi knowledge - valuable
- Team Player and good collaboration skills
