Application Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

What makes you a good fit

• Undergraduate students who are completing their sophomore or junior year in an Engineering discipline like Chemical, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering.

• Basic Understanding of Adhesives: Familiarity with adhesive chemistry, principles of adhesion, and various adhesive types is a plus.

• Laboratory Skills: Proficient in standard lab techniques, including chemical handling and operation of benchtop equipment.

• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct tests, analyze data, and troubleshoot adhesive performance issues.

• Safety Awareness: Committed to following laboratory safety protocols and working safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.

Following your internship, you may be invited to join Henkel as a returning intern or full-time employee.

• This internship has a duration of May 24th – August 13th

• This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support

The salary for this role is$22-$27/hour.This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
