Systems and Business Intelligence team is a center of competence in controlling tools and BI reporting. In cooperation with respective departments in headquarters, we are delivering the high quality support services globally for all business units and functions. You will work with the global department for corporate planning which is an owner of all planning processes with group wide relevance. The team is located in the Headquarter in Düsseldorf and is responsible for process and content management of the group planning processes, cash flow monitoring and forecasting and various projects. You will be part of it by supporting Planning and Forecasting at Henkel.

We deliver a high performing back office support for purchasing activities in the fields of direct materials (e.g. raw materials, packaging) and indirect materials (e.g. services, technical supplies, logistics). The E-Sourcing team is supporting the category purchasers around the world including the corporate purchasing organization in our headquarters with setting up sourcing events in our respective systems. We support the bidding process in preparation and setting up electronic tenders and auctions within our e-sourcing tools, and followed by evaluation of e-biddings together with the category teams.

What we offer

  • Support and administration of the bidding events for different purchasing categories (Packaging, Raw materials, Indirect Materials and services)
  • Preparation of electronic tenders & auctions within Henkel eSourcing tool
  • Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the sourcing event
  • Cooperation with suppliers to collect bid relevant documents
  • High-performance support of analysis of eSourcing events

The Business Controlling team based in the Shared Service Centre Bratislava acts as an internal service provider for the Finance organizations of the three business units (Adhesive Technologies, Laundry and Home Care, Beauty Care) within Henkel. By performing standard and ad-hoc analysis for internal clients we are supporting headquarter and regional hubs by quantitative and qualitative information, reports and services related to the financial statement of Henkel. Our team is highly utilizing multiple internal business systems to develop state of the art financial reporting for various fields like Supply Chain, Marketing, International Sales Controlling, etc.

General description of Department

The Marketing and Sales Intelligence team based in the Shared Service Centre Bratislava acts as an internal service provider for the Global Market Research of all three business units (Adhesives Technologies, Laundry and Home Care, Beauty Care). Competence center: Consumer Insights team provides international marketing units / strategy business units with qualitative and quantitative consumer and market data needed for product ideation, development and management.

What we offer

  • 5 months internship in SSC Marketing and Sales Intelligence: Global Market Research - Consumer Insights team
  • Active involvement in ad-hoc Market Research projects, touchpoints with other SSC/business departments and agencies
  • Analysis of Consumer and Shopper Research to identify fresh insights based on market and consumer data
  • Own set of responsibilities for specific projects
  • Product ideation and innovation workshops preparation

Who we are looking for

  • Student, who has successfully passed first semesters of business-related / market research studies
  • Practical or international experience is beneficial, e.g. by former internships or semester abroad
  • Fluent English language skills (C1)
  • Firm knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Power Point and Excel
  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Team-player with high level of independence, self-motivated, creative and open-minded personality

Remuneration

It is a combination of Erasmus grant and Henkel payout. For Slovakia, according to the current Erasmus guidelines, there is a valid remuneration in the amount of 400€ per month for the amount of hours worked comparable to the full time employee. The total amount payable to the intern varies from 250€ per month up to 400€ per month. This depends on the length of stay of respective Intern and on assessment done by the nominated mentor from the respective department. 

Example:

Five months Internship: (one month break for exams completion)

Grant: 5 * 400 = 2000€
Henkel fix: 5 * 250 = 1250€
Henkel bonus*: 5 * 150 = 750€
Total: 2000€ + 1250€ + 750€ = 4000€
* paid out after 5 months Internship completion, amount dependent on the Mentor´s assessment.
